Paik’s Bibim perched at level 2 of VivoCity serving mainly Bibimbap in fast food style. If you do not prefer rice, you can opt for the noodles. There are four different types of bibimbap; chicken, pork, beef and a vegetarian option, the tofu. Paik’s Bibim serves steam eggs too.
It has opened since last quarter and I have been wanting to try, finally I got my chance. I asked a colleague along this round to try the food served in Paik’s Bibim.
As my colleague is a weekdays vegetarian, meaning she choose to go vegetarian on weekdays and enjoy meat on weekends. She is doing this as she is trying to eat healthily. She was happy to see that Paik’s Bibimbap serves a healthier choice, which is her only choice, the tofu bibim so she opt for this.
The spicy sauce for the rice was contained in a plastic bottle, placed on the table for self-service. You can add in any amount you like. It is the sauce that added flavour to the bibimbap. I tried some of her bibimbap, I like it.
Initially, I wanted the Beef Bibimbap but I saw the Warm Noodle ready on a diner’s table and it has a soy fragrance smell which was so flavourful and nice. Immediately, I decided I shall have the Warm Noodle for my lunch. It proved to be an absolutely excellent choice. There was a soy sauce in the noodle and lots of seaweed and vegetables. After mixing, the noodles has a seaweed fragrance too. The noodle is soft and chewy.
The rice and noodle were served with kimchi and soup. The soup was really flavourful of I dried fish flavour.
Both of us enjoyed the lunch. The price was pretty reasonable. Within 30 minutes, including ordering, waiting and eating the food, we left the “fastfood” restaurant. I am wondering how the steamed eggs taste. I will return to try it as I like eggs.

I think you should try Bibigo or Seoul Yummy, they are the best Korean fast food outlets in SG!
Thanks backpackerlee for the recommendation. I will try Seoul Yummy soon. Passed by a few time but somehow did not choose the restaurant, will try it soon and do a post on it. I have tried Bibigo and have revisited since the first visit, just that I did not do a post on it. It is really very delicious. Great food and healthy too.
