Yu Zhong Bu Tong, From Farm To Table, @ Wisma Atria

Yu Zhong Bu Tong 鱼众不同 located at Food Republic, Wisma Atria uses the freshest fish harvests from its farm to the table, delivered daily from the farm to the stall. This new concept is a first for our food court scene in Singapore. Previously, we can only enjoy such fresh fish only at restaurant. If you are concern of the price, fret not. You will be pleasantly surprise at how affordable the pricing is.

The signature items are the 4 flavours of boiled soup.

For the light palette, you will enjoy the Collagen Fish Soup 胶原白汤 ($9.80).

If you love Tomato Soup, don’t miss the Tomato Fish Soup 公举番茄鱼 ($9.80). The soup permeates the flavour of fresh tomato. Even for me who doesn’t like Tomato, I enjoyed this rendition which emit the sweetness rather than the sourness of the fruit.

For diners who crave for sourish flavour soup, opt for the Sauerkraut Fish Soup 酸菜鱼 ($9.80).

Spicy Poached Fish Soup 水煮鱼 ($9.80) taste authentic. It reminds me of the version I had in Chongqing and various part of China.

They offer quite some side. Three recommended items. First is the Zesty Winter Melon 秘特冬瓜 ($3.80). I savour calamansi and perhaps orange as well. Refreshing and relief the heat from the Spicy Poached Fish Soup.

Plump Fresh Green Mussels with Spicy Sauce 白灼青口 ($7.80) is the must order for mussel lovers.

The third item is the Fried Fresh Fish Bites with Mustard Dip 炸鱼块 ($7.80). Who doesn’t love fried food.

NAHMJ Verdict

Value-for-money, delicious and fresh are the descriptive words that I will use. Hence, for these 3 reasons, I will return.
