Dinner Roll Recipe

250g bread flour
22g sugar
3g salt
3g yeast
120g milk
64g water
10g unsalted butter

  1. Preheat the oven at 190 degree.
  2. Combine all the dry ingredients and mix together
  3. Add on the yeast, milk and water
  4. Mix them into a dough and knead the dough for about 10mins
  5. Add the butter and continue to knead for 5mins
  6. Make it round, leave a clean bowl, cover with a cloth. Set aside until the dough get twice as big.
  7. When the dough is ready shape them to 16 equal round shape.
  8. Cover them with a damp cloth and leave them for 15mins.
  9. After resting, flatten the dough and reshape them into a round ball.
  10. Put them in the cake tin.
  11. Cover them with a plastic wrap or a damp cloth. Leave them in warm place until they get twice as big.
  12. Brush some egg wash on the bread gently.
  13. Bake them for 15mins.
  14. Remove from the pan.
  15. Leave them on the cooling rack. Enjoy the bread when cool.
