When I think of Cantonese food, Dim Sum comes into my mind. Some teaser to begin the meal with Steamed ‘Siew Mai’ with Quail Egg 温泉鹌鹑蛋烧卖 ($7.80/4pcs), BLOSSOM Signature Steamed Prawn Dumplings 大理透明鲜虾饺 ($7.80/4pcs), Golden Pear Stuffed with Minced Pork 像形雪梨 ($5.80/3pcs). Each of the item were on point. I am reminded of my Dim Sum lunch at Madame Fan By Alan Yau.

Smoked Chicken with 15-year Pu-Er Tea Leaves and Chrysanthemum 菊花十五年普洱茶皇鸡 ($50 / Whole) was tender with smoky and I could savour the tea and floral flavour.

Yes another amazing dish, Baked Chilean Cod in Chef’s recipe 酱汁焗海鲈鱼 ($26 per person). I was in awe. I love Cod and it has been a long time since I last tasted such a flavourful Cod fillet. Pairing it with deep-fried mushroom was wise.

Polished off the entired portion of Poached Rice with Fresh Lobster Meat served with Crispy Rice 生折龙虾肉西施泡饭 ($24 per Person). Tasty soup and perfect rice texture. The crispy rice gave an additional dimension of texture.

Lightly saccharine Chilled Mango Puree with Pomelo and Sago ($10) for the sweet-ending.

 

 

NAHMJ Verdict

 

Food served at Blossom @ Marina Bay Sand was amazing. Even though the flavour was light, I could savour the complexity of each scent. Perfectly executed for each and every dish. However, it comes with a price tag.
