My second trip to Paris, France was on Business Class on A380 Singapore Airlines, Flight SQ336. My January Business trip to France was also on SQ336 Business Class, however it was a 777-300ER plane instead. Though both are business class products of Singapore Airlines, there are slight difference to the design and ergonomics of the seats.

Seating Plans
The seating configuration for Business Class On A380 Singapore Airlines is likewise 1-2-1, allowing passengers to access the aisle. These seats are divided in 3 sections. Front section begins with row 11 to 16.
Followed with the middle section from row 17 to 27. The wing of the plane is within this section. If my observation was right, the wings start from row 20 to 26.
Lastly, it was from 91 to 96 with a total of 86 Business Class seats.
I got the Seat 94K located at the rear section. Even though I am not sure which is the best seat, I see that in some review indicating that Seat 11A and 11K, though is a bulkhead, they are without a window.
Seats
My seat 94K.
The pitch isn’t as deep as the seats I got on 777-300ER, but it is good for passengers who are short like myself.
There are lots of functional pockets all hidden by a cover. Double press to release the cover and you see a mirror, a cup holder, pocket of storage and electric points with both the 1 UK plug and 2 USB plugs.
On both side of the seats, you will find the headset socket and you are able to hang the hangsets there as well.
Below one of the arm rest, you will find buttons for “Do not disturb”, call for flight attendants, cancel the call, turn on lights and inclining seats and leg rest.
And the remote is hidden in the arm rest. Lift it and you find it.
The seats could not turn into a flat bed with a click of the button, you need to flip the seat-back down instead. The ergonomic of the sleep position is slated towards an angle which I wasn’t bothered though some reviewers do dislike it. However, what I could not agree was the angle for the leg section, it was declined towards the floor at about 10° which makes sleeping rather uncomfortable.
Entertainment
An array of entertainment with up-to-date movies, music are available.
Washroom & Amenities
I noticed that the design of the washroom and the amenities differ from the toilets. The one at the rear are smaller than the one at the middle section. And likewise the amount of amenities are lesser too.
The standard, tissue paper, linen and paper hand towel cum toothbrush, comb, hair brush, shaver, napkin are provided in all washroom. I was disappointed with the quality of the toothbrush. The bristle is a little too hard.
Food & Beverages
Business Class passengers travelling out from Singapore Changi Airport is able to Book A Cook. Alternatively, opt for inflight menu. I opted for the former.
Supper Meal
The first meal aboard Business Class on A380 Singapore Airlines was Supper. This was served 1.5 hours after the plane took off.
Beginning with an assortment of bread for selection with either butter and olive oil. I opted for the sunflower seed bread which I find it a little stale.
Marinated Crab Meat Salad was the best among all the courses.
Baked King Prawn though wasn’t over-cooked. I didn’t enjoyed the tomato-based sauce. Personally, I thought there could be better option for the sauce.
As for the Nanyang Coffee Mousse with Chocolate Cake and selection of Cheese photo, I have accidentally deleted it without downloading from my camera. OMG!! In short, I love the cheese but I can’t say the same for the cake.
Breakfast
1.5 hours before arriving at Paris, breakfast was served.
Kick start the day with freshly squeezed orange juice.
Followed by selection of pastries and bread. I opted for Brioche. And I was offered the Croissant as well, though not my choice.
Next up was the selection of Fresh Fruits; Grapefruit, Papaya, Pineapple, Honeydew and Grapes.
Subsequently, there are option of Yogurt (Natural or Fruit), Muesli and Cornflake. I opted for the Natural Yogurt.
Lastly was my Mains via Book A Cook, Warm Waffles with Strawberry Coulis. The Belgain Waffle was that authentic dense texture and I really love the orange mascarpone cheese but I find the waffle far too sweet.
