Cinq Heure Du Matin 卯时法式甜品 A French Pastry Shop - Shanghai, China

My trip in April 2018 to Shanghai, gave me the opportunity to try another bakery, Cinq Heure Du Matin 卯时法式甜品. This one is recommended by the same colleague who recommended me Ever Naked and Chikalicious which I love both.

Whitewash wall from the exterior extended to the interior. Sunshine yellow splashes a few door and table top to brighten the space.

At the counter, I estimated that there were about 10 different types of selection. A number of cheese cakes, handful of chocolate ones with remaining fruity choices. Though not spoiled for choice, I didn’t know which to get.

After some struggle, I finally decided on Tout Rouge Byzantin 拜占庭红屋顶 (CNY 58). A lime with raspberry, hazelnut crunch encased within the mousse with a layer of red dusting covered on the dome-like with swirl. Gold were added to complete the finished look.

So lightly sweetened till I wouldn’t term it sweet. The raspberry gel with unhardly any lime flavour was refreshing. I like the added hazelnut-crunch which enhances the flavour with nuttiness and crunch.
