Christmas is approaching fast with most of us entering the festive mood. At such a joyous season, feasting is inevitable and one good choice is the Morganfield’s Sumptuous Christmas Feast 2017.

 

We visited Morganfield’s Star Vista outlet, though this Christmas menu is available other then at the Star Vista outlet and so it is available at their Orchard Central, Suntec City and VivoCity outlet too.

 

 

Morganfield’s Sumptuous Christmas Feast 2017

 

Kickoff the Morganfield’s Sumptuous Christmas Feast 2017 with Morganfield’s Christmas Fruit Tea, Non-Alcoholic ($7.90++ per glass/$18.90 ++ per pitcher). Syrupy Tea infused with real fruit pieces. 

 

 

 

If you prefer alcoholic drink, opt for Somersby Summer Punch ($19.90++), concoction of Somersby and Vodka cum fruits.

 

 

For Dine-In

 

Next 2 are extremely addictive Appetisers. First it the taste like Bak Kwa Candied Bacon ($9.90++).

 

 

 

Next item is one of my highly favourite item at the Morganfield’s Sumptuous Christmas Feast 2017, Crispy Golden Pork ($13.90++). It achieved all the perfect elements in this roasted pork; crispy skin outer layer with succulent tender pork and most importantly was minimum layer of fats.

 

 

For diners who need some greens, Cranberry Ham Salad ($15.90++) is a great choice.

 

 

Ribs are the signature items at Morganfield’s hence this Christmas, Morganfield’s created the Cranberry Sticky Bones ($29.90++ – Half Slab / $46.90++ – Full Slab). The lightly sweetish and sourish cranberry marinate suited for the light palate. 

 

 

A heavy palate like myself prefers the Hazelnut Sticky Bones ($29.90++ – Half Slab / $46.90++ – Full Slab). Robust nutty sweet and aromatic sauce coated tightly on the surface of the meat was more enjoyable.

 

Both the ribs are served with French Fries and Coleslaw as sides.

 

 

Best of all is the Morgan’s Christmas Feast ($149.90++) which has all the highlights of Morganfield’s Sumptuous Christmas Feast 2017. This enormous platter consists of Hazelnut Sticky Bones (Half Slab), Cranberry Sticky Bones (Half Slab), Crackling Pork Roast (400g), Gammon Ham (200g), Sausages (3 pcs), Garden Salad, Roasted Potatoes, Cornbread (3 pcs), Mexican Grilled Corn (2 pcs), Roasted Cauliflower, Roasted Pumpkin,  is no doubt the must order when dinning in a group. We think it could serve 4 and more; unless you are starved for weeks or an extremely huge eater. Should you think of ordering this platter for a party at home, it is available for takeaway.

 

 

Feast is never complete without dessert and there is the Black Forest Lava Cake ($16.90++). Chocolaty cake with berries never go wrong. 

 

 

For Takeaway

 

If you are planning for a gathering or party at home, here are some great choices.

 

 

Beside the Morgan’s Christmas Feast ($149.90+) is available for takeaway, 2 other items are on the menu; Crackling Pork Roast ($38.90+) and Roast Chicken ($32.90+).

 

 

The Roast Chicken was well marinated and remained tender and moist after the roast.

 

 

NAHMJ Verdict

 

We though well of the Morganfield’s Sumptuous Christmas Feast 2017 and will surely recommend the Crackling Pork/Crispy Golden Pork, Candide’s Bacon and Morgan’s Christmas Feast.
