With the Mid-autumn festive round the corner. This year a new player has decided enter the market to offer their take of Mooncake with the branding, Golden Moments. This new gatsby looking image was started by 3 young promising gentlemen who knew each other for a period of time. As one of the partner specialised in Durian hence, they decided to offer the 100% Mao Shan Wang Durian Mooncake for 2017 mooncake festival.

 

Their branding concept is about spending your timeless moment with family and friends. And indeed, this is what Mid-autumn festive is about isn’t it?

 

 

 

Once the Durian mooncake was unbox and begin to thaw from the freeze, the smell of the aroma filled the air. Durian fan like myself couldn’t resist this delight and we begin to dig in.

 

What does NAHMJ say about Golden Moments Durian Mooncake? In short, we love it. The 100% Durian mousse encased in a chewy mochi-like black snowskin. To make the entire look more elegant, golden dusting was used to highlight the design on the top. Filling of each mooncake consist of 4 seeds of Durian. That is how much of durian in one mooncake.

 

 

For now, they only have one flavour of mooncake. Hopefully, eventually, they will introduce different type of Durian Mooncake.
