Previously it was Curry Culture and now known as Dabbawalla Currry & Cocktails after the completion of the renovation of The Quayside which is looking elegant and chic.
At Dabbawalla Curry & Cocktails, per the name suggest, one would anticipate Curry, Indian food and drinking hole. Instead, these are the combination.
We tried a number of dishes of snack such Murgh Peshawari and Malai Broccoli. As usual, Indian food are tasty due to the abundant spice and herbs added to season the food.
We tried a popular Indian Street Food. This was the crowd favourite. Flavourful filling in fluffy bread. It was such as comfort food.
Next up was the curry. Oh my … fiery spicy was my description. If you can’t tolerate your spice well, do remember to ask for lightly spicy.
Dipping Roti into the curry is the best way to savoury both the ingredients.
If you prefer rice, choose the Dhum with lots of meat in it as such expect a packful of flavours in the rice.
At Dabbawalla Curry & Cocktails, they serve a good variety of cocktails to along with the rich and bold flavoured food too.
NAHMJ Verdict
Dabbawalla Curry & Cocktails serve a great combination of food and drinks, a fabulous choice for those who love Indian food.
