St Patrick’s Day Street Festival 2017
Our food and drink trail for St Patrick’s Day Festival 2017 started at Hero’s and Mogambo on Circular Road. And we moved on to The Mask Restaurant and bar, then Dojo and finally ended at O’ Comptoir.
Hero’s

Hero’s has been the go to place for customers in the know looking for pouring their own ice-cold draft beer right at their tables. For the upcoming St Patrick’s Day Street Festival 2017, two special main courses are added into the menu with Guinness stout.
The lamb in this delicious Irish lamb stew ($18 net) is braised in a flavorful Guinness-spiked broth until the meat almost falls apart.
Followed by Guinness battered fish and chips ($18 net), an all-time favourite dish given a heady hit of stout.

The Mask is just opposite to Hero’s, I was immediately impressed by its fabulous modern décor which is so different from other traditional Indian restaurants.
We tried the Mint Naan ($5+), it was made fresh with fresh mint and mint powder mix, warm and tender.
Shamrock cocktail ($16+), an invigorating mix of tequila, white rum, orange and lime juices, as well as a touch of blue curacao. It is as charming as the décor.
DOJO
72 Circular Road Singapore 049426

If you are a matcha fan, DOJO is the right place to go for this St Patrick’s Day Street Festival 2017.
Their PATRICK ($8 nett | $10 nett with fries) Dojo’s signature juicy pork patty which is adorned with creamed spinach and sandwiched between fluffy matcha bread buns. Definitely a “Must Try”.
Ô COMPTOIR
79 Circular Rd, Singapore 049433

Ô COMPTOIR has succeeded in creating a comfortable oasis in which to relax, unwind and enjoy good food. The bistro is beautiful and the setting is unpretentious and convivial.
Lucky Crêpe ($5+) was the dessert we tried. It takes a leaf from the traditional French-style buckwheat crêpe that is enjoyed with a sprinkling of sugar. This festival version features a pretty ‘shamrock’ made with green sugar.
NAHMJ Verdict
St Patrick’s Day Street Festival 2017 is an event for all age group. Not only delish food with Guinness-infused and/or ‘green’ dishes and drinks, activities, music and even for kids are available too. We think it is worth planning a day out there.
