Soup Living At Tanjong Pagar Centre - Kiosk Facade

Soup Living At Tanjong Pagar Centre – Tanjong Pagar, Singapore

With every new building, there comes F&B establishments. Previously, we featured Japan Rail Cafe at Tanjong Pagar Centre. For this post, we are introducing Soup Living which is found in the same building.

I know of many who love soup. Though I am not a fan, anyhow I do have my share of them infrequently. I am sure it is great news for most who are working around the area. Soup is a comfort food especially when it is raining. A piping hot soup to warm me up during cold raining day is such a bliss.

Soup Living At Tanjong Pagar Centre - Soup Menu

Soup Living operates out of a kiosk by 27 years old, Alastair Chan. He is a Cantonese who loves his soup. He visited Hong Kong to master the trade of brewing soup from his relatives in Hong Kong. In addition, he did lots of research on to learn more about the herbals too.

On the menu, there isn’t the typical Lotus Root Soup or Old Cucumber Soup. Instead, there are a total of 6 soup. Among the 5 chicken soup, 2 are herbal based, and the last is a pork soup, Karoton ($6 – Regular / $7.80 – Mighty). Each soup has its health benefit. If you are in need for cholesterol reduction, go for Mushroom Fighter ($6.50 – Regular / $8.90 – Mighty). Furthermore, there is No MSG and No Chicken Stock added to the Soup.

Soup Living At Tanjong Pagar Centre - Youth Elixir ($7 - Regular / $9.50 - Mighty)

Soup Living At Tanjong Pagar Centre - Ingredients in the Youth Elixir

I sampled all of them and enjoyed each and every one. Generally, I avoid all herbal soup but I love Soup Living version since the herbal scent is light. I must give a shout out to The Golden Pump ($6.50 – Regular / $8.90 – Mighty). It isn’t the typical sweetish pumpkin soup, instead it is savoury which I very much prefer.

Youth Elixir ($7 – Regular / $9.50 – Mighty) is my choice as I am attracted to the woody flavour of the herb from Astragalus Root and Radix Codonopsis. Ingredients are abundant too. The other herbal option is Magic Black ($7 – Regular / $9.50 – Mighty)

Soup Living At Tanjong Pagar Centre - Siew Mai

Siew Mai are handmade daily which explain the freshness. I love the bouncy bite-size dim sum. I could easily have a dozen. Lol!

Soup Living At Tanjong Pagar Centre - Drinks

2 drinks are offered; Osmanthus and Chrysanthemum. I tried the former. Lightly sweet and I could savour the Osmanthus and dates fragrance.

NAHMJ Verdict
