Ramen is commonly found in Singapore with mainly pork and chicken broth. For something unusual and especially for seafood lovers, they could turn to Ramen Keisuke Lobster King for Lobster broth ramen located at Clarke Quay. After having my first bowl, I kept going back after that.
As the outlet has only 62 seats and it open only from 6pm, it doesn’t serve lunch, hence expect long queue especially on Saturday.
Interior is very much the typical Japanese ramen restaurant design.
On each seat, diners will find an order chit for the bowl of ramen. At Ramen Keisuke Lobster King, diners can customise their own ramen by choosing the taste of soup, flavoured oil and noodle texture. And add on various toppings as per preference or ask for no spring onionm leek, and ect. It is one of the highly customisable ramen.
Free unlimited amount of hard boiled egg and seasoned beansprouts are on the table for diners to self serve. Various condiments are also on the table.
At Ramen Keisuke Lobster King, 4 types of broth are on the menu. Selection available are Clear Lobster Broth, Rich Lobster Broth, Miso Lobster Broth and Spicy Miso Lobster Broth. Diners could choose to have it with minimal toppings, with flavour eggs or all toppings.
Lobster Broth (Clear Soup)
Sips of lobster clear soup was flavourful. I could savour the lobster taste in the soup. But somehow, as I dig in, I felt it was akin to insta-noodle. This is mainly due to the saltiness that dominated the flavour after constant eating. Somehow the lobster flavour was masked.
Lobster Broth (Rich Soup)
The Lobster broth Ramen Rich Soup indeed has a rich lobster broth flavour. The flavour is pretty similiar to Lobster Bisque. The impression of my first mouthful seems all right. It didn’t wow me. But when I started having the ramen, I felt it was addictive. In no time, I finished the entire bowl. The amount of noodle is considerable little.

Miso Lobster Broth
The lobster flavour in the Miso Lobster broth was masked by Miso. With the same token, the lobster flavour was with additional miso flavour. Personally, I prefer the former to this.

Spicy Miso Lobster Broth
For diners who love to spice things up could go for the Spicy Miso Lobster Broth. Somehow the additional seems like spicy miso minced meat enhances the overall flavour.
As usual, I went for the Spicy Miso Lobster broth Ramen with flavoured egg ($17.90)
Toppings and Ramen
The ramen may not be as smooth as some establishment but it certainly is tasty and complemented the broth well.
I didn’t enjoy the sweet and very soft Chicken Chashu.
Certainly prefer the Pork Chashu to the chicken one. It was extremely soft and flavourful. All the essence of the braised got into the meat. The amount of fats in the Pork Chashu varied.
Prawn Wanton wasn’t fantastic since it was a prawn with spring onions wrapped in a large skin wrap.
I thought the Prawn Ball was quite good, tasty, chewy, bouncy.
Lastly, my favourite, the flavoured egg. It has very runny yolk which I adore.
Drinks
At Ramen Keisuke Lobster King, there is a very interesting drink, Green Tea Cola ($3.80) which I would describe it as a hybrid of green tea and cola.
Other drinks include beer, Oolong Tea, Green Tea and some soft drinks.
NAHMJ Verdict
Noteworthy Lobster broth ramen served at Ramen Keisuke Lobster King which I find them irresistible. Therefore, I kept going back for more.
