Myloc Coffee & Bistro is yet another cafe we visited during our Bandung trip in 2016. We chose this cafe as I read quite a number of review indicating that they are a hidden gem. As such, I was curious to determine for myself if they truly are.
First impression of Myloc Coffee & Bistro was excellent since the service crew was speaking fluent English and he could articulate well.
Interior likewise was equally outstanding. There are lots of unique elements such as the wall paintings and tile picture. In addition, they paid attention to every single details in the interior accessories. The entire space was vibrating with positive vibes.
A pity, they didn’t have a breakfast menu. Instead one menu fits the entire day.
Our breakfast was, first, the Chicken Wings (IDR 35k). The look and taste reminded me of our family version.
Cheese Pillow (IDR 25k) was highly recommended by the service crew. Overall, I do like the ingredients in the sandwich. But since the bread were batter and deep fried, hence it is inevitable that oil was absorbed.
Last dish was the Bolognese (IDR 45k). I am not a fan of tomato based pasta but I thought it was decent.
Drinks as usual, there is the espresso based coffee and no doubt I got the Cappuccino (IDR 31k). Like many cafe in Bandung, Myloc Coffee & Bistro also offers Green Tea Latte (IDR 30k).
As strangely as it looks, Banana Juice (IDR 30k) is very popular in Bandung.
NAHMJ Verdict
Overall, the ambience was cool, we love it. Food was above average though we thought there are room for improvement and we hope to see surprises element in them too.
