Sufood Singapore Revamp Menu 2016 was introduced shortly after their new menu was introduced at around June 2016.
Clean eating is getting commonly accepted and practise in Singapore. It is especially popular among the office executive. I am one who detox my system by having vegetarian, in particular salad once or twice a week. It it little wonder why Sufood kept innovating and improving their menu.
Sufood Singapore Revamp Menu 2016
I was back to Sufood Raffles City outlet to check out Sufood Singapore Revamp Menu 2016. After trying it for the first time on Mother’s Day, I was impressed with their dishes.
Bread And Vinegar
Previously, they were serving 8 course and now it was reduced to 7-course. The Sufood Appetiser was removed. Personally, I feel it is a shame. I love this dish.
At the very least, they retained the Rosemary Breadsticks with either Blueberry Coulis or Creamy Sauce and the Mulberry Juice Vinegar.
Salads
The good new is that they included only the best. On the other hand, the bad news is the selection was reduced by one. In this Sufood Singapore Revamp Menu 2016, there are a total 3 choices.
All the 3 salads were part of the newly introduced item in the June menu. With Macadamia Fruit Salad, Strawberry Snowflake Salad (my favourite) and Assorted Tossed Salad (pretty sour, but I like it).
Soups
No new soup was introduced. 2 of which were from the June New Menu; Cabbage and Sweet Potato Stew, the only non-cream based soup and the Creamy Potato Black Bean Soup. The last was the Creamy Pumpkin Soup which exist from the previous menu.
I am not a fan of cream soup but I find the cream soup served at Sufood acceptable as it isn’t as heavy, rich and creamy as most.
Main Course
Total of 10 main courses for selection with 2 new dishes, Lion’s Mane Mushrooms with Black Pepper Sauce and Classic Stir-fried Garlic Pasta.
For those who want some resemble-meat experience should go for the former dish. The Lion’s Mane Mushroom provide a meat-like texture and taste. A commonly used ingredient in vegetarian dishes.
One of the highly popular dish, the Star Pizza is still on the menu.
The other crowd favourites that are still on the menu are Lucky Clover Pizza and Curry Cheese Calzone.
Desserts
Four desserts are available. The only new item on the menu is Vanilla Ice Cream with Chocolate Cake. It is good though nothing surprising.
I was glad that my favourite Roselle Jelly Yoghurt that was introduced in the June 2016 Menu exist too.
The 2 other desserts are Rosso e Giallo and Banana Cheesecake.
Beverages
There are 3 choices of cold beverages; The Lively (Watermelon and Tomato), The Purely (vegetable juice) and The Comfy (Yuca and Pineapple). Likewise, 3 hot drinks, Yuzu Chamomile Tea, Mint Herbal Tea and Eco-friendly Coffee.
Price
The price remains at $29.80++ per person but instead at the original 8-course, it is now down to 7-course.
NAHMJ Verdict
We are glad that the standard at Sufood Singapore Revamp Menu 2016 still maintained.
