GYUU+ At Emporium Shokuhin In Marina Square, Singapore - Grilling in progress

GYUU+ Yakiniku Grill At Emporium Shokuhin – Marina Square, Singapore

GYUU+ Yakiniku Grill is one of the 8 dinning concepts in Emporium Shokuhin. Previously, I have been to Burosu Ramen and Takujo, Senmi and Kohi Koji. Finally, I am at GYUU+. It is a carnivore heaven. And specifically for beef lovers.

The dinning area at GYUU+ Yakiniku Grill isn’t smokey as one would imagine. In fact, the grills has in-built exhaust hood to absorb the smoke. Therefore diners won’t smell like a piece of BBQ meat when going home.

GYUU+ Yakiniku Grill At Emporium Shokuhin In Marina Square, Singapore - Premium Wagyu Selection Platter ($38++)

New introductory of the Premium Wagyu Selection Platter ($38++) to the menu. We love this platter as we could savour the different variation of fresh and aged beef meat. This is certainly a good way to savour the different premium wagyu selection.

GYUU+ Yakiniku Grill At Emporium Shokuhin In Marina Square, Singapore - Cooked 40days aged USDA Beef Ribeye

The 40days aged USDA Beef Ribeye ($68++) is the ultimate among all the beef we tried. As the muscle tissue in the beef are broken down by the enzymes present in the meat, the result is a tender and smooth with flavour locked in each cell. We couldn’t help but keep gorging down more.

GYUU+ Yakiniku Grill At Emporium Shokuhin In Marina Square, Singapore - Pork Belly Thin slice ($14++)

Beside Beef, other offering such as the Pork Belly Thin slice ($14++) is available. The look reminds me of bacon streak.

GYUU+ Yakiniku Grill At Emporium Shokuhin In Marina Square, Singapore - Prawns ($13++)

Prawns ($13++) is always a favourite item at BBQ. Mind you, they aren’t tiny but each at least 15cm in length, from head to tail.

GYUU+ Yakiniku Grill At Emporium Shokuhin In Marina Square, Singapore - Eringi Mushroom ($7++)

All meat and no vegetable might be too much for the omnivore, opted for the Eringi Mushroom ($7++).

GYUU+ Yakiniku Grill At Emporium Shokuhin In Marina Square, Singapore - Dipping A5 Zabuton Thin Slice in Egg Glaze

Lastly, we are letting you in for an off the menu item. This dish is specially for the regular, otherwise, diners won’t be aware of its existence. Ask for the A5 Zabuton Thin Slice aka 1 bite. Each piece of thinly sliced meat after grilling is dipped into an egg glaze. Left it over a sushi rice and finally finished it with a glace of a special sauce.

OMG!! The 1 bite is superb. One is not enough.

GYUU+ Yakiniku Grill At Emporium Shokuhin In Marina Square, Singapore - Gyuu+ Reiman ($14++)

GYUU+ Yakiniku Grill At Emporium Shokuhin In Marina Square, Singapore - Ishiyaki Bibimbap ($18++)

After all the meat, some carbohydrate might be required. Option of Gyuu+ Reiman ($14++) and Ishiyaki Bibimbap ($18++) are 2 great choices. As I always enjoy Japanese Cold Noodles, I am bias towards the former. As strange as it may be having the watermelon in the Reiman, it proves to be refreshing. We chose to eat the watermelon only at the end, as such it offers a lightly sweet hint that counter the spiciness. At the same time, provide a balance overall flavour to the dish.

GYUU+ Yakiniku Grill At Emporium Shokuhin In Marina Square, Singapore - Goma and Yuzu ice cream ($5++ per scoop)

Sweetened our meal with Goma and Yuzu ice cream ($5++ per scoop). A fantastic way to end the dinner.
