Entering into the cafe, it is as if we stepped foot into a huge living room filled with cushy sofa throughout. To the second half, there are comfortable dinning tables, but it seems like an oily kitchen.
After glancing through the menu, we couldn’t find any Breakfast dishes. Instead Food served at Giggle Box Cafe And Resto is very much Mains suitable for Lunch and Dinner. Expect choices of Pasta, Burgers, Steaks and Indonesia delights.
Plating isn’t the most attractive. In fact, it looked very much like how we will dish it at home, as such expect no frill.
Our Spaghetti Carbonara (IDR 31k) though doesn’t look appealing, at least it is tasty, like the familiar taste.
The other Cheese Burger (IDR 29k) is with only the beef patty and a miserable looking slice of cheese and vegetable. Despite the humble looks, it does taste good.
Lastly, the drinks of Hot Lemon Tea (IDR 15k), Hot Cappuccino (IDR 20k), Hot Green Tea Latte (IDR 25k) was all right.
NAHMJ Verdict
In the competitive cafe scene in Bandung, Giggle Box Cafe And Resto isn’t on par with most of its outstanding peers in terms of aesthetic. At the very least, food is flavourful. Overall experience is pleasant.
