Over at Taipa, there are many Hong Kong styled cafe and many famous eat where you can pick and choose at your whims. When it is a public holiday, this wouldn’t be the case as many shops will be closed. On 21 Oct 2015, it was a public holiday at Macau and we were left with very limited choice. 地堡茶餐廳 was without an English name. I translated it to be Rua do Regedor Cafe since I noted that the name of the cafe was the street it was at. It was one of the rare cafe that open.
It came with a cost. An additional 20% service charge were added to the bill on public holiday. Please note.
Similar to the Hong Kong styled cafe, set breakfast were offered.
A common macaroni dish found in most Hong Kong styled cafe. This one is Marconi in Ox-Tail Soup.
Fried Vermicelli with Bean Sprouts was ordered by one other diner. I suppose she misses the typical Singapore breakfast.
Someone who prefers the western styled breakfast would order the Fried Eggs Sausage and Toast. An option of ham was available too. The presentation looks scanty.
l was in Macau mood and went for the Pork Chop Bun. My second Pork Chop Bun for breakfast. It was delish.
All set breakfast came with a drink. 3 out of 4 diners have the Milk Tea, decent and one ordered Yuan Yang that has stronger coffee taste than milk tea.
NAHMJ Verdict
Food was decent with Pork Chop Bun pretty delicious, likewise for the Milk Tea. The dinning environment was also comparatively better than most as it looks modern, new and relatively clean.
