Cafe Print - By A Wall

Cafe Print – Jalan Besar, Singapore

Cafe Print located at the ground floor of Lofi Inn @ Hamilton is a cafe cum printing services shop. Looks like the various services like the idea of having a cafe. There was salon and cafe, Maax Hair Cafe; interior design and cafe, Avenue Cafe. What else next? Let’s keep a look out.

Hamilton Road where Cafe Print is located is very accessible especially by bus since there is a bus stop along Lavender Road beside the entrance of Hamilton Road. It isn’t a very long way either from Lavender MRT station.

Cafe Print - A view of interior

As I entered the cafe, I could easily see many equipment for the printing services that Cafe Print provides. By a wall, uniform tables and stools were lined.

Cafe Print - Minions Decoration

Throughout the cafe, it seems they have display many of the prints that were produced from their shop.

Let’s turned our attention to the cafe and food which is the purpose of my post.

Cafe Print - Truffle Egg Toasties

At Cafe Print, on its menu was a wide range of Western food. It ranged from All Day Breakfast to steak and desserts.

There were Scramble Egg and Truffle Egg Toasties ($10) for Breakfast dishes. I ordered the latter.

Cafe Print - Apple Crumble with Vanilla Ice Cream

A number of desserts such as the Apple Crumble with Vanilla Ice Cream ($10), the Pop Cakes, Matcha Cakes and more were available too.

I opted for the Apple Crumble. When it was served, it looked like a white and green monster. A little disgusted in fact. But it tasted all right. There were flavour of pandan; I thought it tasted closed to kaya. It wasn’t the perfect complement to Apple but was refreshing  idea.

Cafe Print - Pop Cakes

Coffee was low acidity, medium to full body with mainly nuttiness.

Cafe Print - Cappuccino

The advantage of Cafe Print is that they provided free Wifi and Power for cafe hoppers, making it a good cafe for doing some work.

What I really dislike was the cigarette smokes got into the cafe as there were constant smokers smoking at the entrance.

NAHMJ Verdict

Cafe Print isn’t the most hip and cool cafe, in fact, it isn’t attractive at all. The bare minimum is that the cafe is serving decent food and cuppa. It is a great cafe for working. With the same token, as cigarette smoke diffuse into the cafe, it wasn’t too pleasant.
