Queues were clearly labelled and staff were stationed to assist, speaking Mandarin, Cantonese and English.

On the day of our arrival, the queue for checking-in was long. Speed of the check-in staff was relatively fast, queue cleared at a reasonable speed. I estimated about 30 guests ahead of us in queue, we waited for about 15 minutes.

As most of the guests were from Mainland China, you might find some jumping queue. This happened to me.

Room

We have a Superior/Deluxe Room (located at level 21 if I remember correct). It was close to the lift lobby, nonetheless, it was quiet. We didn’t hear much noise from the room for our stay period (19 – 21 October 2015).

Holiday Inn Macao Cotai - Superior Room with Double Beds

Room size is 37 sq m with a floor to ceiling glass windows. Don’t expect much view as either size you will be facing either St Regis or  Sheraton. Unless you are having a corner room.

Bedding options were a King or Twin Double which obviously from our photo we opted for Double Twins.

Holiday Inn Macao Cotai - Pillows option

Pillow options available in the room were both soft and firm.

The other amenties provided in the room were workstation with a chair, iron and ironing board, in-room safe, minibar, complimentary tea bags, instant coffee and bottled drinks, Wifi, sofa seats, 32 inch LED TV with HD channels.

Bathroom

The bathroom was relatively large (at least most wouldn’t describe it as small).

NAHMJ Verdict

In general, for the 2 nights, we find the room clean and quiet. We thought it was reasonable for the location, quality and the size.
