Wonton Mee is a must have whenever in Hong Kong. No matter how many trips you have made. At each visit, I tend to try one outlet or rather one brand. Ho To Tai is a noodle shop recommended by Michelin. I like the taste of the noodle which has minimal alkaline after-taste but I find it a little chewy, still acceptable though. Coming from the entire bowl perspective, I thought all the elements contributing to the flavour was pretty equivalent. Nothing over-shadow the other.
If you find Yuen Long too far, good news, there are 4 other outlets at Kowloon and Hong Kong Island.
Mak’s Noodle 麥奀雲吞麵世家
Noodles were chewy but not overly done. Our complaint is the soup was too salty.
