A little cafe beside Champs Patisserie at Westway is known as Snackscape. Two sides of the cafe were of full length glass panel making it like an aquarium when seen on outside. Snackscape is considerably tiny by its seating capacity, though it seems to occupy a good amount of shop space.
It is pretty easy to get to Snackscape with the Circle line. Except crossing the road from the MRT station is a little hazard due to the heavy vehicles turning at the junction.
Snackscape has a black and white theme, clean and sleek.
Menu
Menu at Snackscapes is kept small, with only 1 page also in black and white.
It offers some decent food for both breakfast and as lunch such as Wraps, Pies and Lasagne.
The tea used at the cafe is by Tea Forte.
My Order
No surprise to my coffee order. It has to be Cappuccino.
The coffee was not as full body as it should be. It has a low acidity with nutty, chocolaty flavour note with some tea hint.
Instead of the usual size cake, they have it in mini size hence you could order a few different flavours which I think is a really good idea. The cake in the picture is the Red Velvet. The cake layer was a little dense and rough in texture. It isn’t my kind of preferred cake.
Verdict
I find that much improvement is needed at SnackScape be it is food, beverages and the choices on the menu. Nonetheless was a good addition to the area which doesn’t have much cafe choices in the first place.
