Krave Cafe, Delish Halal Cafe – Bali Lane

Krave is a Halal cafe serving Western food at Bali Lane. It is a few doors away from Stateland Cafe.

The range of food served at Krave is huge. From Pizza, Pasta, Salads, Sandwiches, Mains, Sides and a good list of dessert (my fave). With such a wide selection, one might have a difficult time deciding on what to eat.

Pollo Ala Parilla Sandwich

I tried the Grilled Chicken Thigh sandwich,  with guacamole spread and salsa on sourdough. I never like sourdough, unfortunately, Krave was not flexible and it didn’t allow me to change to some other available bread.

The sandwich with absolutely fabulous. It was smart to add pineapple to the salsa, making the sandwich not only tangy but refreshing. The chicken was still very tender and flavourful.

It came with fries and salad by the side which was great. On the whole, it was an excellent dish.

Mr Lover Lava

Mr Lover Lava is a Molten Chocolate Cake paired with a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream and some preserved berries.

The Molten Chocolate Cake has such a flowy thick dark molten chocolate. It was so chocolaty good. It was brilliant to have the berries by the side as the sourish berries could balance the sweetness of the chocolate in case some may find it the chocolate too rich. I need them at the last few bites of the cake. As for the ice cream, it was too airy. It would be perfect if they could change it to some other brand.

Cappuccino

Coffee was pretty decent.

It was a medium to low body and low acidity coffee with nutty and chocolaty flavour note and some tea hint.

Based on what I tried, the food were tasty and I certainly would use delish to describe. If they could be a little more flexible to allow diners to swap for bread, that would have been perfect.
