The Daily Roundup Cafe is within the roof of The Working Capitol, a coworking workspace with desk for rental, for a day ($50 per desk) or for a month ($750 per desk).
I hopped over to the Daily Roundup Cafe for lunch on a weekday. The cafe space is considerably big with pretty spaced out tables.
It has a very limited food menu, with mainly crepe, with both sweets and savoury. And for other cakes and pastries, hardly on the deck.
Since crepe is big on its menu, NAHMJ tried both the sweet and savoury. For savoury, NAHM chose Chorizo Savoury Galette. Crepe was extremely thin with egg white spread almost equally through the crepe. Each inch of the crepe was covered with chorizo.
While for the sweet crepe, NAHMJ went for Hazelnut. If this isn’t your preferred choice, you may want to go for Yuzu Butter or Salted Caramel. Other flavours include Chocolate, Berries and Peach. An option to top up the sweet crepe with a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream was availabl
The coffee seems to be a blend. I was surprised by the strong flavour notes of both dark and milk chocolate, nutty and berry. It was a medium to low acidity and a full body cuppa.
The Daily Roundup Cafe has a pretty huge space with good spacing between the tables. As it doesn’t offer much munch, I feel that it is a cafe more for a coffee when you feel like it. And maybe a good space for working too as it provides free Wifi.
