Bunny and Pony - A Wall

Bunny and Pony Ice Parlour At Changi Village

Changi Village, such an ulu place (I mean inaccessible, and at far end of Singapore) is also welcoming a growing number of cafe. The first to make waves was Chock Full of Beans. Now, there are a total of 3 ice cream parlours in the vicinity.

At the trip, when I was there specially to try out A Spoonful of Sugar, I spotted Bunny and Pony. So made a trip back to Changi Village specially to try, as usual, I couldn’t resist the charm of ice cream.

Bunny and Pony - Counter

l like the vibes of the cafe. It feels homely and cosy, I suppose it was the wooden furniture, the rocking horses, the christmas tree and two cushy sofa that were in place bring such a feel to the ambience.

As all ice cream parlour, they have a similar menu. Ice Cream, waffes cakes and drink. No exception for Bunny and Pony.

Bunny and Pony - Waffles with Cappuccino and Coconut Chendol Ice Cream

This round, my waffle is with Cappuccino and Coconut Chendol. I must say, the scoop of ice cream is much smaller than most. I was much disappointed. It is neither cheaper too. With such a price, I was hoping that the waffle does not disappoint me. And I was glad, it was fabulous, egg in taste, crispy outer edge and soft centre and it wasn’t too airy as well. Both the ice cream were lighter in taste too and not the creamy kind.

Final verdict! Awesome waffles, decent ice cream and cosy, homely environment. I will return if I am in the area.
