Grub Street - Cup Holders

Street Grub, Fusion Bun At V Hotel Lavender (Closed)

Street Grub located at ground floor of V Hotel Lavender a small shop, mainly for takeaway has the a Chinese Bun with western filling.

The shop has an L-shaped table by a corner with a few chairs for patrons to dine in.

Grub Street - Menu

As for the menu, it is pretty simple. They have wraps, bun, sandwiches with only chicken or beef to choose from and some drinks and potato wedges as side.

Grub Street - Counter

Everything is very much self service; order and collect from the counter. I very much wanted to try both the chicken and beef filling for the bun but I know I won’t be able to finish both so I settled for the Black Angus Beef Bun. And I topped up $1.10 for a potato wedges. You can choose to have a drink if you prefer.

Grub Street - Black Angus Beef Bun

The bun is made in-house daily, is fresh, soft, fluffy and sweetish. It tasted very much like the Chinese Dim Sum Bun skin. It was certainly delish. The beef was thinly sliced so it was easy to chew on. Lots of onions and a sourish sauce was drizzle over it. The only complaint I have is the filling is too little. I enjoy it with more meat.

Grub Street - Potato Wedges

The potato wedges is decent, normal wedges.

Street Grub is a good alternative to other fast food option. For me, I like the bun the most. Lol. I will return to try the Chicken.
