Frozen By A Thousand Blessings, Frozen Yogurt At Toa Payoh

Frozen By A Thousand Blessings, is Frozen Yogurt originated from Melbourne, set foot in Toa Payoh. I love all the ice cream stuff so I can’t wait to check it out.

Frozen By A Thousand Blessings - Counter

The design of the store is sleek and modern looking. I like the simplicity. The concept is very much a self-service store; from dispensing the yogurt to adding the topping and the sauce.

First, decide the flavours you like. There are six flavours; Pomegranate,  Green Tea, Mango & Soy, Coconut, Chocolate and Natural. All except Mango & Soy are made using organic milk from Australia. Mango & Soy uses Soy Milk. I chose Pomegranate and Coconut.

Next, proceed to the toppings. There was an array of topping. I didn’t count but I suspect there are about twenty odd toppings, ranging from fruits, chocolates, cereal, pearls, cakes to nuts. I chose almond flake, toasted coconut and Pomegranate Pearls.

Lastly, the sauces. There are Chocolate, White Chocolate and Caramel. I like White Chocolate on my yogurt.

Finally, the end product is the below photo. Now bring your end product to the counter to weigh and pay before you can start enjoying the froyo.

Frozen By A Thousand Blessings - My First Attempt, Coconut & Pomegranate

The yogurt is on the sweeter side, like Beegurt which I tried days before. It is smooth and creamy. The flavours blend well with the yogurt. It isn’t common to find coconut flavour in yogurt so I was excited to give it a shot. It was good. I like the pearls. It popped when you bite on the pearl, very interesting.

It was so good till I crave for more the next day and I went down with my brother for more. This round I tried the Mango & Soy and Green Tea. My favourite after all is still the Coconut, followed by Pomegranate. My brother likes the Mango & Soy which I don’t enjoy at all as I don’t like the taste of the Soy Milk.

Though the yogurt from Frozen By A Thousand Blessings is very delicious and made from organic milk but I find it very expensive. Per 100 grams, including the topping and sauces, is priced at $3.80. The one you saw in the photo cost me $11.30. I suppose once in a while is fine. 😛
