Al’Frank Cookies At Haji Lane, Flourless

The first time I dropped by Al’Frank Cookies, it was closed on an expected Wednesday. I made my second attempt days later as I was in the area. The colour of the door reminded me of Elffin & Elffin, a cafe that was down the lane.

When I stepped into the shop, I was welcomed by the baker himself. He gave me the Macadamia and Chocolate Chips Cookies for sampling. I like both. The cookies were flourless as they replace flour with finely ground Oats

There were about a dozen flavours and I tried a few others like Double Chocolate Cookies, I find it too sweet as both the cookies based and filling were chocolate. I tried some dried fruits and nuts cookies, the dried fruits was not too hard as they soaked it with fruit juice before using it for making the cookies. And Cappuccino and some others which I can’t remember.

I bought a total of 300g wtih 50g free as there was a promotion. I got the coffee flavour for my brother and he loves it. The Chocolate Chips and Macadamia for the family to try. Everyone enjoyed the cookies. My sister even asked me where I got it from.

Certainly, I would return for more of the healthier form of cookies without flour.
