Sweet Tooth At Mongkok, Sweet and Lovely Dessert

The dessert at Sweet Tooth are very attractive. Each dishes comes in very colourful colour scheme. They look too good to be eaten. There are numerous outlets through Hong Kong and I visited the one in Mongkok.

The shop space is not exactly huge but decent. The decoration and design are pretty sweet and sleek.

Sweet Tooth - Menu

Sweet Tooth serve a fusion styled dessert. You won’t find the traditional desserts like Mango Pomelo, Red Bean Soup on the menu. There is a wide range, ranging from waffles, cakes, and etc.

As it was after a sumptuous dinner, we couldn’t order too much dessert. We decided to order two to share among three people.

Sweet Tooth - Green Tea Dessert

My friend chose the Green Tea with Red Bean dessert. I can’t remember the name of the dessert. The texture of the cake-like was powdery with little matcha flavour. The red bean was decent with a good amount of sweetness.

Sweet Tooth - Chocolate Waffle with Ice Cream

I was in the mood for waffle and thinking of having some different from usual, I picked the chocolate waffle. The presentation of the dessert was so lovely. I find the waffle a little too dry and there was a burnt taste. The entire waffle was crispy and to some extend I would use the description “hard”. Of course I don’t mean that it is as hard as rock but was harder than expected. I prefer waffle that are crispy on the outside and yet I can taste the soft moist texture of the inner waffle. There was nothing exceptional about the ice cream too.

Overall, I am not impressed with the dessert served in Sweet Tooth.
