The bakery sells lots of different cupcakes and a few slice cakes too. There were some in petite size, probably, you could finish it in two to three bites. There are about ten flavours to choose from.

One of the slice cake named Cheeky Monkey reminded be of Ben and Jerry ice cream. Cheeky Monkey is a chocolate cake with banana and marshmallow. I think she mentioned caramel or some fudge as well. A very rich cake.

Wow, there is the beloved Rainbow cake too!!

Little House of Dreams - Rainbow Cake

Though there are lots of enticing fabulous flavours, I was so focused on the Earl Grey, determined to try it. Instead of having my usual coffee, for a change I ordered the Maple Tea with Sri Lanka tea as the base. The Earl Grey Cupcake was shaped into a sweet pink rose using butter cream. It was too lovely to be eaten, so I took a number of photos before I finally ate it.

At the first bite of the cake, the Earl Grey flavour started to diffuse into the tastebud. With each bite, there are more sweet earl grey flavour lingering in the mouth.  I love the Earl Grey flavour as it was at the perfect amount, not more, not less. The cake though not sponge-like, it was soft.

Little House of Dreams - Red Velvet Cake

Recently, I kept wanting more of red velvet so I bought a piece home to share with my mom. The cake was spongy and somehow it melted in the mouth emitting a good amount of chocolaty flavour. It was a shame that the cake was not frosted with a cheesy enough cream cheese frosting. The red colouring was not well mixed through the cake mixture. Some part of the cake was still brown in colour like a chocolate cake. Despite the little flaws, the cakes still taste great.
