d’Good Cafe is a cafe in Holland Village. It’s a pretty huge cafe, covering two floors, second and third floow, with three different theme of seating area. It is quite a “playful” cafe, with a few teddy bears lying around, two beanie bags for guests and two swings.
There is a life leading to the cafe in case you do not want to take the stairs.
When I stepped into the Cafe, accessing the stairs, I was welcomed by the “Home Sweet Home” mat on the floor with an address of “Perfect Place”. What a nice feeling!
The cafe is on a self-service mode, from ordering to getting the food.
Since the cafe has three different themes, you should be able to find an area which suit you best.
I like the seating area at the level two best.
It is comfy and the feel is warm.
I was at the cafe around 4pm, was there fore a late lunch.
So I didn’t want something too heavy so I chose the Lava Cake to go with my favourite drink, Cappuccino. After ordering then I saw the mid day set which consist of a Banana Walnut Bread and a Coffee at $5.50. It was so worthwhile. I would have ordered this instead.
The coffee has a spice and woody hint, towards a strong body. Pretty good coffee just that not all will like the flavour. I think you could require for the different beans as they have many different coffee beans at the drink-making counter. The Lava cake was chocolaty but the chocolate centre did not flow like the lava molten so that’s something disappointing.
It is definitely a great cafe for hanging out with friends.
