Restaurant Ember - Appetizer

Dinner at Restaurant Ember at Hotel 1929 @ Keong Saik Road (Closed)

The food at Restaurant Ember at Hotel 1929, located at Keong Saik Street, has always been consistent. I always enjoy the food at Restaurant Ember. Restaurant Ember offers both set menu and a la carte. I have never tried the lunch so far only dinner. The dinner is a three set course and coffee will be served at the end of the meal.

The bamboo clam was succulent and was fresh. I could taste the sweetness of the freshness.

Restaurant Ember - Appetizer

The roast pork dish was pretty normal, like the roast pork served in the Chinese restaurant. No surprise element. The sauces offered by the plate, none paired well with the roast pork. This was a little disappointing.

Vanilla and apple tart pairing will never go wrong. The sweetness level of the apple tart was just right.

Restaurant Ember - Dessert - Apple Tart

I hope Restaurant Ember could whip up some dishes that are more interesting and exiciting and not remain on the safe side.
