Nanluoguxiang (南锣鼓巷), A Hip Street in a Historical City, Beijing

Nanluoguxiang (南锣鼓巷) is a very hip and cool street in Doncheng district, Beijing. Nanluoguxiang is also an area with hutong. Hutong is a must visit when you are in Beijing. There are lots of trendy shop, chic cafe and delish street snacks.

I enjoy strolling along this street and spending my afternoon here. I entered Nanluoguxiang from Di’anmen East Street (地安门东大街). You can choose to enter by Gulou East Street (鼓楼东大街).

Plastered T-shirt (创可贴T恤) located at unit 61 is a shop selling very chic T-shirt. The concept store takes China daily iconic image for the design of their T-shirt. I like some of the design but they are pretty expensive.

One of the drink store found in this street is with Vincent van Gogh’s Starry Starry Night painted on the front of the shop. Look so cool.

My favourite shop in this street sells a lot of cute little stuff from stationery to kitchenware. Lots of different products. They have new products regularly.

My Favourite Shop

Wenyu Yogurt Shop (文宇奶酪店) is a very popular shop, you will always see a beeline. It is located at 49 Nanluoguxiang. Though the shop is known as yogurt shop but Wenyu is not exactly selling yogurt. I guess it is a translation issue. It is selling milk curd.

And I spotted a cute little Husky taking an afternoon nap.
