Creamier Ice Cream is at Toa Payoh. It regularly introduces new flavours. I have been to Creamier a number of times. At every visit, I will order the waffles and two scoops of ice cream.
The waffles come in twins. The waffles ‘sit’ on the maple syrup & chocolate sauce. The waffles taste buttery enough and it is soft and fluffy enough as well, but it is not crispy enough on the outside. The maple syrup could have changed to some other better brand. The taste of the maple syrup is too light. I love my waffles with a good maple syrup.
For the ice cream, the texture is creamy and not too airy. Most importantly, the ice cream does not have a ice shave texture. There are many flavours to choose from each day. You can try before ordering.
Creamier is a not a cafe which you can sit and laze around. The seating is rather squeezed. There are no armchairs or cushioned-chair, there are only stools. As the place is rather small, so when it gets crowded, it can be quite noisy. It’s more of a eat-and-scram kinda place.
There is another similar ice cream place in Toa Payoh, Tuesday Shrove Cafe. You can read the post here.
